How are you? Still working in the same company? I have been extremely busy and studying a lot lately. I am entering a speech contest on August and I need your help.
My speech is about "Living in Australia", which means I will need you to provide me with some local information about your town, such as common slangs, jocks, culture, food, music and what modern young people are into these days like fashion and all that.
There is no rush at this stage, but it will be great if you can get back to me before 30 July.

Hello,everybody! Welcome to our Annual English Speech Competition for this year. Obviously people who attend this competition here are all English lovers,so i believe most of you would love English novels. Therefore, Our topic today is "The English Novel I like Best".
By hosting this speech competition, i hope that you will benifit much from it, for example,improving your speaking and listening ability for English and develop a good habit of reading all kinds of books.

Last week, I took part in an English speech contest which was held by our teachers. There were twelve students in the final contest. I was one of them. Fifteen minutes before my turn, I picked my topic and prepared for it. I wrote down the outlines and organized what I was going to say. However, when I stood in front of all judges and students, I was extremely nervous. My mind was totally empty. Then I took a deep breath to relax myself and started my speech. The result was not as good as I expected, but I preferred to regard it as a challenge to myself, whose process was the most important for me. I can learn a lot from this contest. I am sure I will be better next time.
