Today marks the beginning of a new school year, and I am filled with both excitement and a tinge of nervousness. The first day of school was a whirlwind of activities. The campus was bustling with students, some old friends and some new faces. The classrooms have been rearranged, and the lockers are once again filled with books and supplies. As I walked through the halls, I noticed the bulletin boards adorned with colorful posters and notices, signaling the start of a busy and engaging term.
One of the most significant changes this year is the addition of new teachers. Our English teacher, in particular, has made a lasting impression on me. Her approach to teaching is refreshing and engaging, encouraging us to think critically and express ourselves creatively. In today's class, she introduced us to a variety of literary works that we will be studying this semester. I am particularly looking forward to exploring Shakespeare's sonnets and the novels of Jane Austen.
